Chloe and Jared Wedding in Galveston

 Chloe and Jared Ogburn were married in Galveston on May 20th at 4 pm with the reception to follow at 5 pm at the Trolley Station on the Strand.  Since we had a memorial service in Angleton at 2 pm we did not arrive at the church in Galveston until 2:25, just in time for the I Do's.  The reception was very close and fun!  Pictures.  VIDEO



Ronnie's Memorial Service

 

On Saturday, May 20th at 2 pm, family and friends gathered for a memorial service for Ronnie, Ronald Keith Carter, at the Angleton Church of Christ.  Ronnie passed away on Tuesday the 16th after battling cancer.  Pictures.

Mother's Day

 

Adam had to work in San Marcos, and Jordan was in Great Britain traveling so our gathering was small for Mother's Day.  All the same we enjoyed a meal together and visited as we talked about the passing of Uncle Stan the night before at the age of 82.  Pictures of our visit. 

Afterwards Tammy and I went by M D Anderson hospital to visit with Ronnie before he moved to hospice care.  He was awake and aware while we were there.  Two days later he passed at the age of 59 from lung cancer that was diagnosed in March even though he first had leg cramps in October. His wife, Judi, took care of him until the end, surrounded by family and friends.
