On April 29th my father-in-law and last remaining father figure in our family passed away. Tammy's father, Thomas Kent Ledbetter, was 86 years old and had been suffering from low blood pressure and breathing difficulty with a significant recent stay in the hospital. He had fallen on several occasions due to these illnesses and weakness that also was attributed to a bad knee for which he was using a walker. While his health was quickly deteriorating he remained in high spirits and was an inspiration to all his family and friends. Truly a connoisseur of good food and wine he was impressive in his selections as I came to know him over the past 40 years and I always looked forward to the wine he provided for the many many meals we shared. He had a memory for poetry and verse and was very well read. He will be missed by all as he is survived by his wife, Marcielle, daughter, Tammy, and son, Timothy having lost his son, Michael in 2014. Burial will be May 8th with a future memorial service.
