August 2012 Birthdays

 

So this year was a bit different as I was stung by honey bees on the Friday before my Tuesday birthday, hence the facial swelling above.  Actually we got together on Sunday afternoon, so the swelling from the sting near my eye was improved from Saturday.  I also was stung on the wrist, but both stings were not painful except for some swelling and itching.  A benefit of the bee venom was that both my knees are pain free now, something that I have suffered from for over a year and a half.  Inflammation in my joints is an ongoing problem caused by type II diabetes. There has been a lot written about the curative affects of bee venom, so I won't bore you here with details you can google yourself.  But we had a good meal and gift exchange for Marcielle and myself and an enjoyable afternoon at their house.  On Tuesday Tammy, Adam, and Jordan joined me as we ate at Johnny Carrinos in Pearland.  See the pictures here.   VIDEO
