Jordan's 30th Birthday Weekend

It's hard to celebrate much when the country is still in the grips of a pandemic but we tried this weekend. Jordan, now 30, wanted steak and over the last few weeks I found some nice ones that we grilled to near perfection, or so the article for cooking them said they would be if I followed directions. Tammy made ice cream sandwiches from homemade ice cream and baked cookies and they turned out very good.  But we did manage to get in some outdoor exercise even though Jordan did get caught in a heavy rain shower one day. The weather stayed pretty cloudy with consistent rain on Saturday night. We enjoyed his weekend visit and he even stayed through Monday to work from home along with Tammy at the dining room table before driving back to Austin. Pictures.
